Allison Lauchaire

English as New Language Specialist

Allison Lauchaire has a master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from SUNY New Paltz, a master’s degree in Humanistic and Multicultural Education from SUNY New Paltz, and a master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from Fordham University.  She began her educational career in migrant education, teaching elementary learners in a bilingual program.  Since 2001 she has been teaching English as New Language (ENL) in the Arlington Central School District.  She also serves as K-12  District ENL Coordinator and as Elementary Teacher Assistant to the Principal at Titusville Intermediate School.  Allison has worked as a literacy leader and is experienced in designing and facilitating professional learning experiences.  She is an active participant in the district’s equity initiatives, working to add culturally responsive resources to the elementary curriculum and prompting changes at the school building level.  Allison Lauchaire holds active teaching and School Building Leader certifications in NYS.  

Dawn Galente

STEM Specialist

Dawn Galente is an educator with 30 years of experience. She is an expert in progressive and inquiry-based curricula with a particular interest in math, science, and engineering. She served as Arlington Central School District’s , K-12 Director of Math, Science, and Engineering for 16 years.  She is currently back in the classroom, teaching 4th grade.
